This video is imprinted in my brain. The nostalgia I feel seeing this again after eight years, wow. I remember when TFA first came out, this video amassed 1 million views shortly after, which was INSANE. In the beginning I was skeptical of Rey/Kylo Ren having a relationship, but after this video - and after reading the amazing “Death and the Maiden”meta essay by Ohtze, I couldn’t deny what the subtext was clearly yelling at the audience. The way you splice scenes from the prequels to parallel with sequels is *chefs kiss* If only episode IX was better than what it was… never thought I’d get back into Star Wars again. I didn’t really like the Obi Wan tv series, I was disappointed with that one too. However the Andor series is so good. But after episode IX, I felt scorned and let down by Star Wara in general. I’m still so sad that they killed off Ben Solo - the real last Skywalker. Ugh. Anyways I’m rambling, but I just wanted to comment on how much this fan video shaped me as a fan, lol. Love love love this. Thank you for keeping this up, I plan to come back to it again and again ❤️

When i Was 13 in 2016 or 2017 I listened to this every day-

I hate whenever animes introduce a villain who is pretty damn powerful, turn them to a protagonist and then nerf them, current Lyon wouldn't even be able to perceive matching Gray's ability and yet they're pretty evenly matched here. I like Gray more and all but it would've been nice to see Lyon improve alongside Gray.
